Default Wanted: Patrol Side Step mounting bracket.

Looking for an Nissan Patrol Y61 SWB offside front Side Step mounting bracket.

Anybody know somebody who is breaking a SWB Y61 and has a mounting brackiet available for sale?

And is the front mounting bracket on the SWB the same as on the LWB?

Thanks.

Typical!

I thought I had bend my old one back in to shape but when trying to fit the side step yesterday it became clear that it was nowhere close to being in the right shape.

Send out several emails to get prices of brackets but the only reply so far is £60 but that is for a full side step kit including both mounting brackets. Not to bab and if required I have to fork it out but it never hurts to ask on the forum.

Thank you very much makeitfit.

Just got reply from dealer. £45.19 + VAT on back order with no idea when it will be delivered.

Fez, I have thought about that. However due to the shape it will be nearly impossible to get a similar looking bracket.

Off course I can just use a piece of flat iron and bend it through 90 degrees but I like to keep the car as original as I can.
