fuel gauge
there was a thread on here a short wile ago about the fuel gauge staying on the current tank fill, and could it be altered, well yes it can the gauge relies on a magnetic brake, so when the power is off it stays where it is, to disable this function you need to remove the assembly and also remove the front clear cover easy job, then place a high strength ceramic magnet close as you can to the fuel gauge and when you get the magnet oriented correctly the needle will follow it and you can drag it down to zero, it should now go to zero after ignition off, this is all I did and the gauge now functions like the temp gauge, Rick
