Mav Passed MOT today, on it's 17th Birthday
Happy 17th Birthday to my Mav
Just passed MOT no advisories, garage said it had never seen a car in such a good condition, especially for it's age. We are out tonight to celebrate...... A quick thank you to all our fellow members for giving advice on how to keep these trucks on the road, or even off the road. It has never failed in all these years. had an advisory last year on a repair spot on the windscreen, but not noticed this year. As most of you know, I've had this vehicle from new, I have kept Finnigans in business all these years (Waxoyl). If it ain't broke don't fix it. Yes if I had to drive to John O'Groats tonight, I wouldn't have an issue with that. OTHER THAN THE FUEL.... 17 years old, so old enough to drive... Next year it will be old enough to drink... But we won't mention last years... (16th) The current government have already done that to owners of 4x4's already... and to the price of fuel.

The fee was £35 for the MOT, so there was no profit in it for them. I even submitted it with the second battery fitted too. I must admit I was worried last night though, was it Del Boy that said.."women worry about PMT, men worry about their MOT". My wife said if it passes it passes, if it fails it fails.... Woman have different ideas, from us men.
