Hi, new to forum and have just brought a 1997 2.7tdi lwb Mav nice wagon doing full service tomorrow. just thought i'd say HI.
already got my £10 worth by sorting my heater out.
Also have a V8 landy 110 too!!

Howdy. I can see why you went diesel. I had a LR 90 V8 briefly last year. 15mpg! Great noise though...

Hi yes my 110 V8 also runs on LPG which makes it cheaper, but the Mav is a more refined machine and also doubles up as a family taxi etc seems quite good on fuel so far.

what was the fault with your heaters mines only working on number 4 i believe to be heater resister but 60 quid from main dealer no way

it will be that resistor, ask someone breaking a truck on here or go to a scrap yard. I got mine from a nissan primera for £2 from a local scrap yard

yes there is an easy fix for the heater problem, soldering iron and a blob of solder, 15 min job if that, did mine four years ago and still working, so join the club and save £50 and you will be £40 in pocket and thats just for a start. regards bri
