Default Newbe from Plymouth with a Terrano II

Hi all im Scott From Plymouth

Im a bit of a Jap car nut and have had lots of Jap toys over the years! (Ill make a thread in the "other Vehicles" section soon).
I currently run about in a Classic Datsun but I now travel a bit to see my Girlfriend each evening so needed something a little more comfortable and reliable.
Ive never had a 4x4 but fancied one without breaking the bank! I looked at Vitaras but they were to clunky and uncomfortable for me!
I got recomended to look at Mavericks/Terranos............ so I did

Well after 2 months of looking and finding nothing local to me (most were way up north!!) I found one on ebay In Plymouth so i went for a look.
After a good look about and a drive round the block I drove this away for £800 .........................

And I couldnt help getting a little arty all be it at IPhone quality lol..........

Well its a 1996 T2 SE Touring 2.7TDI with 150k on the clock.

There is a few little bits that need sorting like a leak in the clutch fluid system and a few stuck windows but not much to worry about.

I love driving it and its soooo comfy

I plan to do some light off roading with it as well so im gonna jack it up a bit and make it look the part too lol

Well i hope u like it and ill be on here often

Cya

Cool

nice!

btw that last shot in dark, reckon tyres look slightly oversize....

not much room in arches to front and rear, unless as zippy says
needs lifting to factory height anyway.

Cheers guys!

Yea I think the tires are a little oversized! I'm not too sure what should be on it? Nothing rubs tho!

Is raising up the front as easy as winding up the tortion bars? Do these sag over time then?

I haven't been off roading yet as I've only had the truck a few days but lots of my friends do it so I guess I'll find out soon lol

What size r on there now think if 15"alloys then 235 75 15. or with 16"alloys 235 70 r16 in the pick looks like u had the car up on the grass on the drivers front wheel will look low if all 4wheels are not on level ground and yes the front version bars can sag easy to lift the truck back to standard ride height don't even have to jack car up to get underneath car

I'm running 235/75/15 Falken-RV on the rear and 225/75/15 Goodyear Wrangler AT/R up front.

I'm planning bigger rubber after the lift

The truck was on level ground in the last pic with the moon! Sounds easy enough to adjust tho!

Make sure they're all the same size when you get the new ones
