Well last night, when returning home I have seen 1 house already decorated to the gutters, but also a local council have placed their Christmas Tree with full working lights..

I thought there were council cuts..

Bah Humbug, but let's wait till December 1st at least..

Now where's my iluminated inflatable Santa
What people get upto in the privacy of their own homes,,,,,

You are all totally right, keep Christmas in December!!!! however poor councils only have so many people who can put the trees up and turn the lights on so I guess you can understand a little bit. There's enough grim and bad things going on so let's have a little cheer but keep it in December. There's several houses near me that decorate up and collect donations for local charities so well done them. Any how just for you guy's take a look at this link.

Default Traditional christmas

Keep Christmas in December? You heathens, I prefer a more traditional view here's how it works.

Advent Dates for 2011
• November 27 - First Sunday of Advent
• December 4 - Second Sunday of Advent
• December 11 - Third Sunday of Advent
• December 18 - Fourth Sunday of Advent

In Western Christianity, Advent begins on the fourth Sunday prior to Christmas Day, or the Sunday which falls closest to November 30, and lasts through Christmas Eve, or December 24. When Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday, it is the last, or fourth Sunday of Advent.

SO it started on the 27th of November this year and that's when our tree went up

So when should the tree and decs come down then, usually it's 6th Jan, but if work starts before this, they come down the day before..

You old minge !
We take them down at the last possible minute just before midnight on the 6th with large amounts of happy juice
Then when the stuff comes out again we have to drink lots again or we'll never work out how we put away last time
We'll be offroading next weekend and might accidently bump into a crimbo tree Things you find in the woods
