Its probably because like my R3mR its an import. I was with Adrian Flux last year they wanted well over £600 for renewal.
I moved to NFU local office £434 only 2 years NCB in wifes name she is 55.
I did a lot of shopping around to get that price. Good news was the excess on a claim and glass cover was lower than Adrian Flux.
This year most insurance has risen substantially on vehicles a lot of it is due to the Ambulance chasers raising premiums everything costs somebody something.

we do some wuite long hard walks and when I suggested one of them could be broken up by an overnighter out on the hills....................

no I think the problem was I wanted her to carry the table chairs kitchen cooker and sink , I did offer to buy her a bigger rucksack
