Mate of mine did some tests on various headlight bulbs, Xenon Max came out as the brightest by a long way, brighter than some of the much more expensive bulbs.

i have tried most of these bulbs and found the only ones that come up scratch are halfords xenon gassed bulbs, but they cost £24.99 each, but you get what you pay for.

well i went to tesco last week to buy a cabbage and came out with a cauliflower......so stick that in your pipe and smoke it....

I think they are only naughty if they have "Not for Road Use" or "For Off Road Use Only" stamped on the box or the bulb. A mate of mine is an MOT tester, i will check with him.

I think the law simply says that they can't be above 55 watts (or a silly colour) other than that i don't think there are any other restrictions.

well the bulbs are in and ive been for a drive ..... they are bluddie good .. loads and loads better than the originals , brilliant , highly reccomended
