one of our "favorite" neighbors got lifted yesterday for breaking/entering a house about 500mtrs from his own hovel, iv'e been bad fettle for the last week or more but this has realy cheered me up, what a thick shit he is , has anything like this cheered any of you lot up???????

very sensible if you ask me, the powers that be were saying not to travel in the snow unless it was absolutely neccesary, so he just did a bit of 'home-work', what's wrong with that? He could have been stuck in the snow otherwise

What about that dude from Kirkheaton, sounds like he was a real wrong un too. He shot a Policeman and wondered why they shot back and didn't miss. Sun newspaper came out with some details about him.

yeah one of my work collegues friends new him, they said he was a prat. got in trouble with a gang or something, they came round kicking off, he ran into back garden, dug up his gun, and the result...not sure ho wtrue that little stoy is, but i know this much, it CANT be worth it, can it? to be like that, and end up shot.

I have absolutely no sympathy for him at all .

I do have sympathy for the cop who ended up in a situation where they had to open fire, I also feel sorry (with conditions applied) for the dead mans family.

I would suggest one way to look at it would be that if he was inclined towards firearms and violence he would have dug his gun up eventually. The man in the street or a member of your family could have been on the receiving end for a trivial reason.

However, he has learnt the hard way if you pick a fight you may lose

what i want to know is, he shot a police officer, ok they returned fire and killed him, so why the f**k is there an police authority investigation, you play with fire you die by fire, end of story and a waste of tax payers money, at least we wont have to keep in prison.

The policemans body armour saved him

They went to his house he got his gun out and told them to go away which they did but he still opened fire. Then they played a waiting game until they started hearing shots which is when they they shot him. Most of that has been from news bulletins and papers. They gave him several hours in which to make his mind up and end it safely. Unfortuantely the PCA always have to get involved where shots have been fired by the police and a member of the public has been injured and killed.
Apparently he had history and had been inside for being involved with a drugs gang. I just hope that the police do not have to pay out compo to his family. I know there is drugs and crime everywhere but this was semi rural and a nice area. I saw the helicompter hovering over the area on Monday night when I had been out and was litteraly 2 mins away from it all.

Only brightside is that we don't have to keep him now. Just hope the officers involved in the whole incident are all OK.
