MOT
Just realised my mot runs out before the car is booked in for discs , pads and ARBs.
One pad is broken and the disc is scored ,ARBs are catholic (no rubbers) But I have put a number plate on the bumper ;O) Booked in for 4pm at same garage Should be interesting. Brian |

Well it failed :O(
nearside brake pads metal to metal ARB links foofed both trackrod ends excessive play (that's an understatement) First time the old girl has failed a mot ;O( Old mot runs out on Sunday, thought is was earlier, ,car booked in Monday morning so will pass as soon as they do the work. Bit of a result really as it's had some abuse this year :O) Brian |

In the old days you could always drive it until the original expired, not the case now.

You could get away with driving it if no one checked up and discovered it had been issued a fail. Once failed, no MOT exists for that vehicle always has been the case and nowadays its dead easy to find out. Im sure the gentleman I spoke with on one occasion "in the old days" realised the flaw in keeping ALL car docs together for production |
