Default Todays Mathematical Question

Part A
If car M is travelling 900 miles with 4 adults 2 children plus small trailer and Parkers Guide says car M does 26 MPG (I think it does a lot more) and price of Diesel @ £1.19 .How much is it going to cost in Diesel to get there?

Part B
In your own opinion please give your answer to how many MPG should Maverick 2.7GLS 5 door 1997 do, average speed of @ 70 on toll roads.

Answers on a postcard please..
Thanks
Louise

£187.43

£1.19 per ltr (1 litre = 4.5 gallons) = £5.4145 per gallon

900 miles / 26MPG = 34.61538 gallons

34.61538 x £5.4145......

I get 30mpg on motorways and dual carriageways 24/ 26 towing my caravan but I never exceed 60mph if I can help it. After this speed the wind resistance affects fuel use dramatically. dont forget this very useful tool, http://www.nissan4x4ownersclub.com/d...lconverter.htm. enjoy your holidy regards bri
