I would be more than happy to speak to this w@nker face to face and discuss his concerns.

but a little but of public relations sometimes helps.

I would not like to see all on here get a sh@@@y name on the back of a wind up.

Any way it was only a suggestion

and anyway he got a response

Actually, what I really should have said is that at £10/year I think this forum is excellent value and I've already gained some valuable info.

Ladies and Gents, Girls and Boys.
This "Gentleman"--Mr Williamson; has obviously not done much research; however, he shows some wisdom because he owns a TERRANO-

Let us remember recent club events when most of us mucked in to help someone, who although less fortunate than many, never-the-less has caused much joy and given us all a good "lift".

Select 4wd, low ratio and plough quietly but steadfastly through the muck and mud thrown by those who don't seem to be able to appreciate the value of cammeraderie.

Finally---"HATS OFF TO BAT 21"

( OK --so I'm a creep but I don't care)

A last comment on this!

This kind of thread rarley gets posted and so doesn't deserve much attention, but i dont think our collective insults to the person concerned have done much to change their opinion?

I now they are only light hearted jokes but you never know!

So, Spencerwilliamson, all banter aside if you do change your mind, you know you'd be welcome back

Mr Williamson.

It seems you have some unfortunate misconceptions regarding the true costs of running a bulletin board forum.

The membership fee here is exceptionally reasonable. Given the extremely friendly nature of the members and the wealth of money saving technical information available, making savings that exceed your ten pound initial outlay is simple.

The days when forums could be free are long gone. Bandwidth, backup & software charges make a nonsense of this, and in truth, they have done for a very long time.

I know of at least one forum that has taken plc status just to protect it from the ranting ignorance of such as you. In simple terms, what you have stated is a libellous mis-statement of the facts. I trust you will accept this gentle correction as informed rebuttal and conduct yourself accordingly. We are reasonable people and an apology is always accepted.

Hey, f***wit. Your idiotic post only highlights your stupidity. As an opening comment, I think we can safely say that we don't want your money because the net outcome for this forum would be an opinionated tw@.

Please post an X if you need a reply in easily digested single syllable words.

Evening All,
Not been about for a while due to work commitments but thought I should log in and catch up on what has been going on.
Two things seem to stand out,
1) Briggies truck - congratulations to you all for your generosity. Restores your faith in humanity. What a superb forum it is.
2) Spencerwilliamson - words fail me to be honest....... The help and assistance I have received from other members and the download section have saved me £££££ over the last year of Terrano ownership. Just by searching the site has answered 99% of my questions.
Better off without him to be honest.

I WILL be renewing my £10 subscription, best money I have spent in years.

Cheers

Steve.
