LWB better. My auto LWB used to tow 3- 3.5 ton round easily!
Never tried with SWB but feels like it could pull my house down. |

I'm stunned you got away with that Mundy; the auto is rated at almost half the manual gearbox towing weight (around 1700kg versus 3000kg+ I think)...

Yea someone said that before, but it done it quite easily. 3 tone of sand/ballast when I done some labouring. Pulled like a dream.

Careful though - i thought the same with my 99-plater til the gearbox went at 120k miles and I had to pay £1500 for a rebuild (try finding an autobox second hand for one of these, its painful)...
