its happening at last!
hello again, been a little while!!
Been dead busy and stuff, but the Mav has been off the road for a few weeks now, nothing wrong, just money. Anyway, tomorrow I get 4 new AT tyres fitted, these are 50/50 tyres. I am also getting the rear shoes fitted, so the truck should be nice and driveable safely! My breaks aint hte best right now, hence the new shoes. I cant wait because doing this means I can FINALLY start laning, and doing some off road. I have done it before, but I am talking very light, and very little! When I went to Langdale a few years back, I loved it so much, hence why I ended up buying the Fourtrak, and now the Maverick, its something I really wanted to get into. I am also having fun learning mechanics as well. Anyway, does anyone know any good organised places I can go to , suitable for my experience? I was going to go to Langdale, but its still closed, which is a HUGE shame as it was PERFECT for people like me! I know thers TOng, but doesnt mention availablility fo rpeople liek me any more, just corporate events and training, which isnt what I want. I want to be able to turn up, say hi, then go for a drive on my own confident that if I get majorly stuck, I will get help (and I am alway swilling TO help!) cant wait! |

Hey clivvy, Frickley aint too bad especially if you like mud They even have a tractor with a mobile phone in the cab not that you'll be getting stuck in a T2 I'm still finding Frickley mud under mine and it's about 2 1/2 years ago since I went.

hey chaps,
so i got th eMav back today, £80 poorer. Mechanic said I should invest in some new wheel nuts as mins are abit battered. Can someone advise me where to get them, or does anyone have a full set for sale? cheers car looks wicked by the way with new tyres, brakes are good and also the mech removed some wheel spacers (??) so all is well. |
