Had the pleasure of having driven and also of having been driven fast in the former (Rally Eiffel couple of years back), but not in the later yet - though I do know a guy who has one and uses it as a road car.

cheers was going to suggest mk2 rs2000 but curtailed my previous post.

always fancied getting that nose cone kit for my mk2 saloon and estate
but as a skint student didnt get much past buying early editions of fast
car and rally sport full of ads for such proper body kits.

in early 80s frequently drooled, well still do on sky repeats of the professionals
when the escort appeared, though sadly not as often as the capri which was
almost as nice too.

yummy!

Personally I prefere a Gp2 or Gp4 car - here's one I was nvolved in building - took some googling to find it as it went straight out of the country to portugal when it was finished.

And kinda for completness - here's a Mk 1 we did too

Or one of the best looking most fun cars you were more realistically going to get a shot of

Or on the same thoughts a quick dip back to the 70's
