Well a disco is better off road than a x trail but they ain't cheaper for parts if he's looking at a TD5I was going to trade the T2 in for one injector wiring harness needs replacing alot like T2 maf's & around the same price, but have heard TD5's do like to eat cylinder heads which are 1k for a bare headin the long run they do seam dearer to run

I heard a few bad things about the TD5 engine, summat about an oil pump drive bolt. I quite like the look of them and love the sound of the td5 engine. Anyway I'm sticking with my T2 for a lot longer yet as it's just toooooo much money to change.
Hey Wendy, if you've got a few days off come up to Yorkshire and help me tile the bathroom I got 40 boxes of travatine to put on the walls Jim T |

dont forget that the navara has engine probs aswell, all the makes seem to have their own faults in one way or another, but the disco manual td5 will knock spots off a t2 anyday, i have dealings with both and l/rover parts are easier to find and cheaper than nissan. willow, go for the disco, more room and more power.
