I've just had a horrendous experience, sent to Swindon for two days with work......................

Have you ever tried negotiating their road system

Swindons got more, in random spots and (safety in numbers??) grouped together

Who on earth puts 4 mini roundabouts on one junction ? and why ?

theres a magic in hemel hempstead too though each island has less lanes
coming upto each junction and more space, a green park in the centre.
theres less sensation of travelling with traffic going in opposite direction
to your nearside as there appears in the piccy above.

seen smaller versions where a staggered crossroads has two mini islands
but you can still meet traffic 'wrong/near' side. all good fun. think it was
cheltenham or gloucester.
