Default caravan spare wheel needed help!!

we are going away in a week or two and have just discovered my caravan spare wheel is missing the storage place is secure ,and they are not admitting it happened there, as i never checked it when i took it back its off a sterling eccles explorer twin axle van its size is 155 x 13'' for an alko chassis ,caravan supplies round here are no help where do you think i can find one? looked at some sort of rubber spray type thing that seals and inflates tyre wondering if this would be any good on a caravan? thanks for your help will scarborough

our ta uses 155(/80)x13s which certainly used to be common on things like my old mk2
escort so shouldnt be an issue, think towsure.com stock them, certainly should be able
to get a rim then tyre from kwikfit etc.

Look here for caravan breakers ,hopefully some near you.

http://www.caravanningnow.co.uk/cara...g/breakers.htm

As said make sure they are 6 or 8 ply tyres and also not too old .Caravan tyres should be changed when 5 years old,7 years max.

You will get the tyre you need at a good local independent tyre fitters. They should stock all tyres needed from car to tractor tyres.

On the subject of tyre puncture repair, i have heard of mixed reviews. Some vanners swear by it and some hate it. They will probably get you home but i would take it very slow.

Lee
