I would not wish to promote swearing but it is part of everyday life you cannot control what others will say. Either in a pub a playground or on a website.
I can swear like a trooper but also I try not to use language in front of my kids or parents out of respect.

But on occasion it does happen

As for a family based site How many of your wifes or kids want to read posts on duff viscous fans etc..

The only family orientated site related events are the rallies and they don't get much support nowadays

Is there actually a swearing policy on here ? Is it OK after 9 o'clock?
I have from time to time had a bloody awful day and wouldn't dream of using the words I'm thinking. So doing the odd **** seems a good idea.
So go grow up yourself OR get Bat to legislate...............
we all have bad days, mines every time it rains and i'm working outside (my job) but i don't come home and type foul language, swear where you like my friend but please not on here.
do you not find it embarrassing to have poor control of the Queens English ?
And from the replys to the post it seems you are in a minority group,
never mind poo happens (snigger snigger)
ssteve (it rained today)

Never been a main stream kind of guy, minority groups are usually far more fun
As for the Queens English, well I think I've got a handle on it now, at least that's what my O and A levels say
I would still like to know , however, if there is any language restriction on here?
I'm not sure how many posts I've done, but for the main part I think you'll find them all pretty tame and swear free,so there
PS
It's raining here too

i would say there is no restriction on words used, as they seem to self edit the bad words,
i assume its now more relaxed , i remember once i said rhymes with duck and got told off .... and p.m'd so its definitely relaxed now.

from what i understand its bats policy to let the site evolve and as long as people are respectful to each other then that's fine

"I would still like to know , however, if there is any language restriction on here?"

self control would be much better

"I'm not sure how many posts I've done, but for the main part I think you'll find them all pretty tame and swear free,so there"

so why use foul language???

"PS
It's raining here too"

as always??

"so there"
ahh that takes me back to school days forty odd years ago,
thanks for that little bit of nostalgia

Easy....I'm having a bad day!!
Had to do garage tidying today instead of tinkering with the Mav
Looking good now though and I've uncovered 8 spots and a rear spoiler for it
Black limo film good to go and a big fat set of flaps

We are all adults and as adults we should respect each others differences. Some swear some don't if you were in a pub or at work would you say anything?

As for kids on the site i've never known more than a handfull and they never posted. And don't try telling me that kids don't use or hear that same language at school our out with there mates. It's up to the parents to educate them. There is a time and a place for everything.

If someone is regulary abusing the site and using it in a harsh way then report to admin. If someone had had a very bad day and want's to let off some steam thats ok with me from time to time.
well is this the muzz i new from long ago??
