Mav parts in a T2
Hi All
Looking to see if anyone has put genuine mav parts in their T2? I know that there is a few trim differences between the two but .... Will most mav parts work in a T2 and.... Are mav parts any cheaper than Nissan T2??? The main reason for my query is that my nearest nissan dealer is quite a distance whereas my nearest ford dealer is about 10 minutes away. Regards Lee |

Zippy I'm sure lots of folk who've actually done it will comment but there are lots of common parts as the R20 platform underpins both vehicles, with largely cosmetic and badging differences....if yours is an '01 model I'm assuming its facelift, i.e. with the later chrome grille?
If thats the case there might be a few more differences as I notice a few different bits and bobs between my 02 and 99 vehicles (the pre-facelift 99 one being closer to the Mav which I think went end of life 96-97-ish?). But to be honest, I tend to use motor factors anyway as they are nearly always cheaper - and you'll find a lot of Nissan/Ford bits aren't in stock anyway these days, they have to come from Amsterdam or somesuch place! |
