yes they should , but its up to the person who submits the photo to disguise the bits they dont want visible.....

but cloning your car is possibly not such a bad thing... i always use that one to escape speeding fines and parking tickets....

Christ if i wanted to clone a car id just look on ebay or autotrader they even tell you how much mot and tax you have.

then just order your plates on ebay.

2 days i could clone the judges car. good enough to escape photo evidence

much easier that scouring through web site galleries , i wouldnt bother doing it that way

Does anyone cover up their reg numbers while driving their cars to prevent anyone cloning them

trouble is you could clone one that has no mot or tax.... with ebay and auto trader you know what tax and mot you have.

As for peeps selling pic's they have no copy right to do, some here have said so what! well I for one object to this, not long ago a pic of me at work was sold & I for one didn't like the idea of anyone making money from something they had not asked my permission to use.
Here it is..

Yet again someone who as no idea what they are talking about!!

We sign a form to say we are will drive a bus with add's on!!

The question I posted in the first place if you care to read instesd of jumping onto the band wagon was & is why the pic's was for sale.
If I buy addidas or any other branded items then yes I am advertising for them, this as sod all to do with that, this as to do with a question on why pic's I/we have posted has a for sale sign on them.

The question was answered way back, yet members keep having the need to keep keeping this post alive.
And if thats the best you can have for a screen saver,me driving a bus all I can say is you need to get out more..

yes i read it all.................... previously.

but if you add pics to any site they are no longer secure anyone can copy them and sell them if they choose

i know about copyright but you will still need to know its been used in that way to chase up any copyright laws

but yes i see your point, but you know the risk now.... if worried dont upload pics

i believe that option is gone now so i guess the pics are free

Some of you guys really do need to read the thread before you jump to conclusions, I'll try and make it simple for you here.
  • I opened a SmugMug account to host the old gallery images.
  • Part of the default setup with SmugMug has some sort of "buy this photo button" that I wasn't aware of.
  • I received a few PMs from Club members expressing their displeasure that I was selling their photos, one even threatened legal action.
  • I had the buy this photo button removed from the gallery.

Is that clearer now?

I have to say that the reaction I received does make me question the intelligence of some
