I'm fukked if i Know but obviously others know better.

That would be the two peeps who can't attend or commit to a rally but in the past couple of hours have decided on a north and south national.
But I presume someone else will have to do the work in organising for them as they might not be able to attend.

But lets turn the thread into a slanging match over a comment about scots being tight arses

hey dont worry ... im extremely annoying... "oh yes its been said" but. it dont upset me...nor do i take it to heart. but some do and its not fair or nice for them.

for me its only a screen and a few buttons ... i can walk away for 10 mins to calm down or turn it off for the night but most things just go right over my head

i appreciate people want to discuss, question or debate things just consider not everyone has your view

that's the beauty of it .a mixed bunch of people having fun and helping one another.

i don't think your dumb and hopefully your not rude ... maybe your choice of words weren't the best...

but hey no one got hurt........ and im still staying

ok lets assume we all say yes, then tubbs books it for thirty groups or families and gets a fantastic deal for high numbers

then as it gets closer and people start dropping out... the discount will be effected and the ones who thought they could afford it suddenly cant

oh and what about the venue they take a booking for all these people and only half turn up..... not really fair is it
unless you would like to take the booking at your risk and you guarantee any losses

i wont commit for that reason... i am doing work organizing local meets to bring members together locally to encourage new members and provide something extra for existing members

some dont agree with things like team wales and team Scotland or team Yorkshire..... and they are welcome to not join in if they choose

however this has all been discussed with the owner bat21 and he's happy with it and so are other members

i dont know what tubbs thinks of all this and as he's sorting the national why dont you ask him

yeah dont worry muzz, we have our opinions about meets but as i said i would love to be able to put my name down, but i am a carer for my wife and if she cant go nor can i, and i will only know a few days or maybe a week before meet if i can go. thats my problem that i CAN'T COMMIT, i have more important things to see to each day. anyway no problem hopefully it's all in good fun, so now you can pay your bl**dy tenner, now you have wound us up. lol

I don't think your anoying at all if fact i've found tonight fun. And I agree with your views its only a screen and a few buttons.

I'm a simple kind of guy with simple views and geerally say things as straight as I can not always falling into the PC or diverse views of others.

My views may be right or may be wrong some people may like me some don't. Personally I think i'm a nob.

I am only trying to generate interest in member getting together and having a laugh.

A thing that some members put a lot of hard work into and don't get the respect they deserve.

I understand not all members can commit nor can others plan with current budgets.

I was not having a go at yourself's personally.

But unless other member's don't start so commit early on then thing can not get organised.

And yes it's better not to commit that to let other down.

Yes the cental folks would be better off but how else would you make it fair.

If you have a north and south national your dividing the club already. And the idea is to have a meet for all to attend..
And just to prove a point that started all this controvasy and debate.
I did put "I know a tight arsed scot won't travel to essex"
Scot being singular not scot's being plural or general.

Jocky how long have I known you matey
