Default T2 Door Mirrors

My T2 is a '98 SWB Extreme so thankfully has little in the way of electric toys like windows and mirrors and up until the X5 pushed me under an artic trailer I don't remember ever adjusting them so have not missed the electric option. Does anyone know if the mirror wiring would be in the original wiring loom and I would need just the mirrors and switch?

I have spare mirrors, you'll have a short wire inside the mirror that comes out of a grommet and then a white plug on the end.

Drop me a PM if you need any bits

I would hazard a guess at yes it will be in the main loom.
Like Banshee says the plug will most likely be in the door wiring but just not used.

Just to add, there are 2 plug types, which look simular, but won't inter-connect. When I changed Suz's door mirror, I had to change the connector as well.

I had the drivers door card off a while back to fix the lock and clean the window mechanism, unfortunately I do not recall seeing any stray connectors and I wonder if the Extreme used a basic wiring loom from a Commercial.

Cannot say if the loom will have the mirror stuff as only ever had electric mirror motors after 97, but do have mirrors if you are in need, Rick

Oh and do have the mirror adjusting switches that self destruct on trying to remove them...

I've got a wiring loom to hand for the door with the electric mirror plug.
This came off a 1995 Maverick which had electric mirrors.
Will snap you a pic so you can compare
