Yep we will make a long weekend break of it, we used to do those journeys regular when we had our narrow boat, moored in Carnforth for a year when we got stuck on the Lancaster canal, and the Leeds and Liverpool was our home canal, Skipton is lovely on the water, Rick

If it's the one I'm thinking of it's near masham.
Loads of lanes around the area but not sure about campsites.

Well I'm pretty close really and I've done most of the lanes so I might plan a rough route and go and drive the ones I haven't done yet, I would like to see that Victorian folly too and I'm sure there is other stuff aswell, if you wanna have a look at sites go for it bud

Yeh it's not far from Masham, there is black sheep brewery in masham
There is a place called hill top farm near druids temple which you actually drive through while doing a lane and I THINK it may be a campsite, I will check it out

18th-19th? Or 11th-12th-13th which is Easter weekend, I reckon the lanes will be busy Easter weekend though.

Well I know that I started the thread about a meet up but unfortunately my circumstances have changed. I am not in a great place right now so I’m going to pull out and leave you all to it.
Genuinely I hope you all have a great time.

We will be on holiday from the 17th April, so the latter weekend is a no go for us.

I'm pretty sure we will have Freddy over the Easter weekend, and I know he loves a bit of off roading!

I'm sick of all this damn Coronavirus cobblers and if the news or anyone else is to be trusted then they say that this thing could be around until after Autumn!!!

I for one am not putting my life on hold until then and i want some laning ASAP

Lets get a list sorted of anyone with the same mindset, to get things going again I'll put myself forwards to lead a group. Groups of 4 trucks max seems to be the best configuration leaving enough gap not top annoy any locals and walkers between groups.

Carry on the list with your username and preferred date and a backup date and we'll see what's occurring, let's go for a meet near Masham, I'll do same camp site enquiring.

CB essential!!!!!

Group 1
1. Banshee - 18th/19th April - Group 1 Lead
2.
3.
4.

Group 2
1. - Group 2 Lead
2.
3.
4.
