Decision Time
Well tomorrow the festivities will be over and I値l be straight back to our local health establishment. I have had to make the biggest decision of my life which will be life changing but give me the very best chances of life. I have had support from some amazing people and I値l never forget the support and caring that people have given. This is going to be the hardest few months of my life and I hope they will never be repeated.

You do not need luck Jim, you just need to stay focused on beating this thing, your body created it, your body can defeat it, Rick

Hopefully they値l give me a date for the operation tomorrow. I知 not afraid of the operation or the pain after the operation as I know I値l get amazing care. The part that really scares me is living with the changes afterwards, before anyone cracks a joke nothing to do with gender but trust me humour helps a lot.

All the best mate for the new year.
Before Christmas we saw our Grandchildren identical twin boys who were born as a result of T.T.T.S. in the womb where one steals the other blood supply.(Born at Alderhay Hospital)
Morgan the quadraplegic twin is now 14 years old he was not expected to live into double figures, his brother James is doing really well considering his arrested development. James can talk, walk, run and knows every make of 4x4 we have owned. If they can survive T.T.T.S. with a tangible quality of life I am sure you will survive albeit with a change in the plumbing department. All the best with the NHS Jim they are brilliant. |
