Default How much is this worth?

Asking on behalf of a, ahem, friend who's just bought it...

Why? What's supposed to be with it?
I'm getting some bullwastage from an ebay seller. He says that it wasn't sent out damaged and that he can check the (top secret) security marks. Return postage isn't worth the hassle and I'm going to chop it up for the snorkel.
I am likely to name the seller, who's based around Aberystwyth in order to prevent anyone else hetting ripped off.

Bend it back to normal.

I'm not sure on the rules if they have to pay return shipping, I know milners wouldn't budge when they sent belts that did not fit. Hence why I will never shop with them again.

The seller is still banging on that the filter box was perfect when it left them, that I must have damaged it or damaged in transit (box not damaged).
He can collect it on Thursday as is correct according to consumer rights, if he refuses, it'll be name and shame time.
He seems to have plenty of Nissan bits, so a heads up will be good.

Depends on what you paid for it, as I said in my first post it is not worth much, I usually throw them away as never been asked for one yet, if I was to sell one it would be no more than a fiver plus post, Rick

It's not about the money Rick.
It's about being ripped off.
As I said, it'll be butchered for the snorkel so the damage isn't important. The seller was asked for remedy and sat there saying that I must have damaged it, they have a crappy feedback policy and the whole thing feels wrong.

Can I ask why you went to ebay when we have family here that would have looked after you?

Named and shamed
https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/afuk-part...p2047675.l2559
I was justy browsing, saw it and bought it.
He has an obligation to pay for the return of the goods under the Consumer Rights Act when the goods are faulty/damaged as this is.
The sellers first response was that I had damaged it, which put me on a course of action. If the seller had done the right thing, i wouldn't have woorried about it.
But the guy, in my eyes is a unscrupulous thief who only has positive feedback becasue he refuses to leave feedback until after the buyer has, so unless you want negative feedback you're pushed into positive. Even then the seller can go on an lie.

Take it off and keep it Rick, someone on here will want one eventually, the newer ones are plastic and not suitable for modding for snorkels. I think Blocky has a plastic one and he is well overdue for a snorkel
