A Very Happy Christmas to everyone.

Sometimes we all get swallowed up in every day life and don’t realise how lucky we are. Just lately on the run up to Christmas I’ve been so busy with the teaching course, remembrance day activities including running the pa system for the ceremony in my town, running activities for the youth group, my family having problems with cars and of course the project truck being off the road. I’ve been reminded just lately to count my blessings, had some wonderful things happen. I moved youth group to a different town this year and unfortunately it didn’t go well so I had decided to finish my teaching qual and then resign quietly. Out of the blue I had a phone call to see if I would go back to my old unit. Cut it short I agreed to go back and Friday night was a dining in night. Those young people were amazing, they looked so smart with their uniform and bow ties and more to the point they were all full of good manners so much so that even the caterers commented on them. The young people were told that I’m starting back and the reception I got really humbled me, even had newbies coming up to me and speaking to me. They’re all so enthusiastic about activities for next year.
My lads both had car troubles recently. They both got together with a late start last Saturday and stripped the damaged car down and refitted the whole of the front end and got the damaged car back on the road by the evening.
I’ve also had an offer of a gadget from a fellow member from here. Will say no more other than I’m very grateful.
Earlier this year after many interviews I finally landed a great job at a really nice employer with some really nice people with awesome toys. Shortly after moving jobs my old employer went bust so that was a lucky escape and I think destiny looked after me.

Sometimes we see and hear about the bad parts of life and hardly hear about the good things people do.

So feeling happy today and grateful for what I have and the good friends and family around me. So Happy Christmas Everyone and I truly hope that our very own uncle has a wonderful time with his family.
