The consensus was that the photo and the thread showed the forum in a bad light for something that was totally unconnected with any of us in any way (madmark left the forum stickers on it ). So our esteemed moderators (well, Banshee was available) removed the thread to protect our good names and reputations (although I think TDoug, 'shee, and Zippy are probably too far gone anyway).

I agree, could not be a worst case scenario for the guy if he had joined here. He is also breaking a silver Terrano in his other listing so should of had access to parts.

He states oil down the back of the engine but looking at the picture there seems a oil ?? patch on the corner of the intercooler. That is the side/corner by the dip stick is it not. A friend ran his car without the dip stick secured, made a right mess and I laughed alot

My guess is that it's not oil but diesel from the leak off pipes running down the side of the engine turning black giving it the appearance of engine oil.
