Default Road trip.

I finally got away and gave the old bus a post MOT celebratory run out. I was hoping to have another night out but between the cold and not being able to find a campsite, I headed back home today.
I se off yesterday, westwards, along the A55 aiming for Nefyn ( a place I've always wanted to go to).
I took a bit of a diversion around The Orme at Llandudno for some spectacular views.

Camp set up in Nefyn and I woke up to quite a nice view, bloody cold though.

On to what I believe is the most westerly point of mainland North Wales.

Then off to the beach for some lunch and a coffee.

The weather started to turn a bit wet on the way to the planned campsite up in the hills so I went on to look for another. After driving halfway around Anglesey and still not finding one, I came home.

Car didn't miss a beat.
Considering I practically drive for a living, I didn't feel taxed in what was 10 hours on the road (including stops) today.
Terranos are ace.

Looks like you landed up at Uwchmynydd. Looking out to Bardsey Island. I live and work around here on the Llyn Peninsula.

You lucky, lucky person.
I was lucky with the weather and yes I wandered via Whistling Sands over to Uwchmynydd and Aberdaron before having lunch at Black Rock sands.
