In or out
Please do not think for one minute that voting out will be instant or indeed achievable, there is no law that says the government has to follow what you vote, indeed it will take two years or more to exit due to crap rules set up on joining, France for instance said crap to these laws when we first joined and for those that remember, they burnt our lambs that were exported from the UK under the then new EU rules, been countless other irregularities since, they think that as we abide by the rules that they can still dictate for the next 2 years during exit negotiations, well I think we should do as the French do and that is as of Brexit say stuff em, but in reality are the BRITISH public going to say brexit ??????????????????????? I do not know, but unlike most of you out there I really do not give a stuff as I am immune from therm , night all on this very special day,Rick

I was wondering when this thorny subject would pop up.
For what it's worth I'm in and here's why. I know the EU is balloxed and overtly corrupt BUT the EU has brought peace to 28 member states. In Poland and Hungary the EU is seen as the last defence against their authoritarian governments. I don't think we should leave them alone. Cooperation not Confrontation. I live/love the beaches here where I live and the countryside I drive around in. None of those environments would be habitable if the EU hadn't forced UK govts to tidy up it's fookin mess. As for immigrants well there we need to man up and play the game to the rules. So no cash in hand monkeys at 5 quid an hour shit. Pay the min wage. Britain is no longer some land steeling Empire, it's hanging on the ruddy edge cause it's playing with the big boys at the moment. Nip out that school gate and the ruff kids will get us . Love and peace |

I don't really think it matters which way the vote goes,Governments will do what they feel is best whether we like it or not.
I think they should put a box of condoms through the letterbox with your voting card cos you are gonna get f****d either way |

I've just had a long chat with my MD about the whole topic, very interesting stuff once you get into the business and economic side of things. For what it's worth my company is a privately own Danish group. Taking a Europewide point of view is very enlightening.
I'm even more comfortable with my choice of vote than I was this morning. I'm not that concerned about the no vote winning the referendum either, there are still a couple of plot twists yet. |

I originally voted to join the "Common Market" but had no idea at the time that we would be heading for a Federal Europe I thought it was all about Free Trade.
The government might just go for the EEA option thus effectively ignoring the voters. Either way it will make little or no difference to me in my lifetime. |

Unfortunately our government is far to corrupt and lacking balls to make a difference one way or another, I for one will contribute the least I can to a system that allows immigrants into this country and promptly gives them much more than my grand daughters can get, a system that sends our/my money to corrupt regimes, a system that allows wholesale disregard regarding MP's fiddling expenses, I will stop there as am going to bed, got early job to do am, Rick

I guess we have what we wished for.
I hope it turns out to be what we really do want and that we are going to get the improvements that the leave votes believe are out there. Adios cheap weekends away in Europe. Adios free healthcare when we travel. Adios Erasmus education for our children. Adios trade agreements and chunks of exports. Hola visas. I'm struggling to see haw a corrupt UK government is going to change just because we have left Europe. I fail to see how immigration diminishes the opportunities of UK citizens (there are now 27 fewer opportunities). I fail to see how leaving Europe has changed our border control- we had border control yesterday as we weren't in Schengen. I fail to see how an estimated 16% price increase on my products is a good thing. I fail to see how increased unemployment is a good thing. I fail to see how increased retail prices is a good thing. Not a day for this Briton to be proud. At least I've got a couple of years to plan my escape... |
