Default front coilovers on t2

Has anyone fitted coilovers to front of t2. Basically replaced shock with coilover

Yes it's been done. Not on here as far as I know but on that there tinterweb I've seen some.
A bit of welding needed and fabrication of a shock hoop. Then the bottom arm needs bracing or making new stronger one. Torsion bar adjusters out and some kind of bearing replacement .
Question is for what benefit ? The only one I could see would be for fast offroad racing style , but then the truck is blinking heavy for that discipline
If it's extra flex you want, I cant see this helping any there either.
I like the idea but couldn't see enough benefit to go down that route

Thats the guy I got idea from but he uses a 17" shock wiith only 5" of travel which dont seem enough hense why i thought just replacing standard shock with a longer coilover also it would bolt in with little mods but crucial getting right one as not alot of room there between drive shaft and suspension arms

Someone tell Banshee that if he does it he'll be able to fit 42" tyres and I reckon his truck will be in bits by Saturday!

He appears to have ADDED a coilover above the top arm while still having std shock in place
How the hell that gets you more flex beats me
Shock travel is not the limiting factor on the IFS , CV angle is.
