Note: being lazy, it's raining, running late, only space available are not disabilities. Also pregnancy, young children, forgot your coat are not.

I appreciate not all people use a wheelchair. But running comfortably and swiftly would disqualify you from said badge.

Leave the space for people who need it.

What a numpty....

However I must admit, when using my VW Transporter van in a supermarket car park I have been known to park in 2 spaces so I can get the door open and climb out of the vehicle without smashing it into the car next to me.

I must stress however that I only use 2 spaces when there are plenty of free spaces in the car park, if it's busy I squeeze myself into one....

Lots of examples of bad parking here in Belgium.
My cousin, driving a (very!) tiny and battered Renault Twingo, would squeeze in between their car and the lines.
Result: no complaint possible, since his car was inside the lines and no damage done to other car - but impossible for the offenders to get into their car properly

There's a facebook group on this, to combat the problem at one of our higher education institutes: "You Suck At Parking Thomas More Kempen". Nice examples over there...

I saw a white van belonging to a well known transport company that provide maintenance for rail travel ... park on a disabled space, badly too... it was raining, and at first, I thought it was Lindeford Christie, for how fast he was lol...
I had the camera in the car, I checked his van first for disabled stickers, none there... so a quick email to the company and a later response said he had been reprimanded as they didn't want to see their staff promoting a bad public image, well, they need all the help they can get lol.
The guy was on an important mission, a box of Tea bags and some milk...lol

Now here is an issue I have...
I am not registered disabled, but because of my condition, "advanced prostate cancer" I really wish I had a disabled badge so I could fairly use a disabled bay, I never have though, as I too have to run into places, but to find a toilet quickly. I now tend to use the disabled toilet as hygine is essential during the "exercise" without too much detail, I have to hand wash several times.
I have not yet been confronted by anyone waiting, but I do have a polite response, if required. No point in being confrontational, we both have issues to face.
So when you see someone using a disabled toilet, when they are not in a wheel chair or have a zimmer frame, or sticks or a carer, they might well have a condition similar to mine. Now I like many, would consider my condition as quite a disability.
I now carry a McMillan card with... " The holder of this card is having cancer treatment, and needs to use a toilet quickly, can you help?
So far I have not been refused, and it saves any embarrassment.
I now have a Radar key too. All these things help me to try to re-establish as close to normal a life as I can.

I thought I would look at the Blue badge website, and my condition alone does not reach the minimum requirement, as it is more of a mobility issue.

I has a similar experience in helfords recently, BUT there was just enough room to squeeze in.
Driver went ballistic,enquiring how he was meant to get into his drivers door with me parked so close.
Went even further when I suggested it was down to him overhanging the bay I was in his reply was priceless
" I do that so I have plenty of room and others do not scrape my car"
The suggestion that he got in via the passenger door did not go down well

People who park in cycle lanes! Could you please stop doing it too? Especially at schools, because I know you'll have a pop at me for parking in a parent/child bay at the supermarket.

You want these stickers on the type of adhesive that shreds when you try to peel it off.
Never put on body work, you don't want to be accused of vandalism, plenty of cameras watching you, especially with in car cams too.

The offending parents are generally sat in the car while waiting to pick up little Johnny or Jemima. Taking a camera might and an email to the police/council might be worth a punt or I could just park in the parent/child bays...

Here here worst I find is those with kids, having kids isn't a disability god make the lazy little sh*ts walk might help stop them getting fat & for some reason they aren't happy when I park right behind them & block them in whilst the Mrs go's into the shops
