Default Bradbury 2 post car lift 2.5 ton.

Hi Guys,

I thought I would give you guys the chance of buying my ramp before I advertised on the dreaded Ebay.

I have a 3 phase, 2 post Bradbury car ramp in the shed, I got it from a neighbour when he decided he needed more shed room.

I don't have 3 phase, so I thought I would get it installed, I then got a quote..... and nearly fell over....

I thought I would get a converter to make it work, however, like most 'good ideas' it never came to fruition and the ramp is sitting idle. So I've decided that it deserves a new home.

I believe its a 2.5 ton, but will check later, It was in working order when I bought it 18 months ago and I have never used it so I can't see why it wouldn't work.

I gave £550 for it which looking on ebay was about the going rate, as you can imagine I'd like to recover as much as I can so a sensible offer would be considered.

I can assist with loading as I have access to a telehandler, I can also assist with local delivery if required.

I'll post some pictures later when I get a chance to clear a space and take some.

Although somthing of this order could solve that problem..

Some info on the motor rating would be helpful in sizing an inverter drive unit...

They are a very versatile bit of kit, soft start, programmable acceleration, frequency etc... frequently found in passenger lifts in single phase premises.

Pity I don't have space for a vehicle lift at home, I have to make do with the 35 ton lift at work!

Yeah, that's been the show stopper for me to be honest, I have had various conversations with people regarding using an 3 phase converter, or having a single phase motor fitted to the lift, which I must admit sounded like the best option to me.

In all honesty though, I'll very rarely use the lift and I only got it because it was available and sounded like a good idea at the time.

It's just taking up space which could be used for more bikes, well that's my plan anyway !!!
