Exclamation Minimum parts order fiasco !

I needed a pair of nuts and bolts for my Jeep and unfortunately they were a bolt with a built in shoulder and washer so could not use a standard bolt plus they are high tensile.

Went to Jeep main deaker in Derby and came accross the minimum order rule where I could not order 2 bolts and 2 nuts as the minimum order was 4 bolts and 6 nuts!

So as I needed new bolts placed the order it set me back £48.33 ! Now I know why they call dealers Stealer's!

As it happens same bolt is also used for the shock absorber mounting so they might come in habdy in the future but I feel well mugged.

Or you could look for someone with the same problem as you (they only need a pair) and sell the spares for £45.00. #Bargaintastic #VoteCapitalism

Never heard of that before mind you if it had been Nissan the bolts would have been £400 as that seems the price for everything at the minute I know when I worked for Rover if you needed just 1 bolt & it was out of stock 1 or 2 would be ordered for the next day but the customer only paid for what they needed It's not as if the Jeep dealer isn't going to use any of the bolts in their workshop robbing gits
