Tips for hissing fuel cap
So even with lots of fuel sometimes after a drive if I open it up I get a big hiss... There is a breather in the cap by the looks of it, I tried to spray it with brake cleaner, isn't there a secret hose somewhere I can spray?

You don't fill up enough then Mine gives off a hiss every so often but it's mainly in the summer when it's hot but never noticed any problems TBH & i'm sure a couple of my old motors would did it as well

If at any point you have starting problems or running problems, then removing the fuel cap for a second might help things. What is clear... your fuel system must be fairly air tight, as any leak would equalise the pressure in the tank.

Clearly you guys are much younger than me...
You got one free with so many gallons of Esso petrol. Then there were the stick on bullet holes too. The Esso kite in the Mid 60's was the best ever I had.
