The paper disc cost must be peanuts in the grand scheme of DVLA things. Now they're making a fortune out of everyone who sells a car. You loose any part of the month you're in when you sell it. Then you get to pay from the start of the month you're in when you buy I make that a win win for DVLA and unless you flog your car in the last day or two of the month and buy on the first day or two then that's a loose loose to us
Personally I think the whole tax disc thing is a shame and all road tax should be charged at the pumps. You use the road a lot, you pay more , simples |

Banshee follow link but think does one for each month to tie with your renewal.
I did think leave it on when runs out so folks who have forgotten about new process think I'm out of tax. Also considered getting a replica of the first one the truck had ie expire 11/03. Many classic owners are doing just this. Can supply a link to a guy on fb making old replica discs.
