Smile Hello

Hi, I'm a Patrol GR driver based in Wolverhampton. I've joined so that I can get (and give, I hope) help from/to the UK Patrol drivers. I'll probably just be lurking around...

Wow! Great welcome, thanks.

I'll get some piccies done and posted. She's a silver 'trol with "event support" written on it and a couple of short Radio communication aerials on top. Usually running around Wolves, back and forth to work in Shropshire and up and down the motorways of this fair land.

No mods on it, done 195,000 miles and I've only had her since February. I've taken the old Duellers off (horrid tyres in wet when worn) and replaced with some all-season road-oriented tyres, much improved.

She's got a swivel joint seal gone and I think shocks/springs might need doing soon.

Hopefully see you guys around

The seals are a straight forward DIY job
Assuming the spheres are in good nick. If not you can do a liquid metal filler job and sand down. Worth considering a full hub rebuild though. At nearly 200k it's probably time. All parts avail from Milners and you get club discount

BarrBeast, I see you fitted euro rear lights to your Trol... where did you source those? They're far better than the standard UK set-up, people keep telling me some of my lights aren't working!

Oh yes more than welcome another troll owner seems so many on here drive the Terrano (one day they will learn).

I have a silver 2003 Patrol SVE that has no mods apart from CB at the moment as I only go green laning in it and Patrols are so good that you do not need really to mod them for green laning.

I am the GLASS rep assist for Hertfordshire so if you or any one else needs help with lanes in my area just give me a shout.

Welcome aboard

Russell.
