Fantastic Day
Today has been good, in fact better than good. Today I have been flying in a light aircraft, flying could be an understatement. Flew loops, barrel rolls and the ultimate was a stall turn about 6000 feet above Wetherby. However cloud surfing was cool too. Positive g is great but negative g is plain weird.Im still buzzing.
Happy days indeed! |

Airfield was near York.
Ive done some cracking lanes are the dales, sweety was on one of the laning trips but these days I prefer to walk the lanes or as today fly over them lol. Got to say tho today was more of an adrenalin rush than any laning day. Cloud surfing around cumulus clouds is amazing. I really need to do that again lol. Sadly I couldnt take a camera with me as it would of been dangerous if it had escaped from my hands. |

Wish I could of taken photos but sadly no loose objects but understandable really. A truly amazing experience and cant wait to go again. When you are up there tipped up on the wing tip surfing around the edges of the clouds it is something else. Ive told my wife that Im going to sell both terranos and my children to take flying up as a hobby. Perhaps winning the lottery might be a safer bet. Though I did feel a bit stupid trussed up in a growbag, parachute and a helmet .
