Hi there and welcome aboard, it'll be best tenner you've spent. Can you elaborate a bit more about the issues after fitting the stereo. Excuse the pun but it sounds odd does that. What year is your truck.

Check out the downloads section in quick links, stacks of info in there too.

Hey buddy and welcome. Great place here, pay up the tenner and get the knowledge

There is a few immobiliser issues cropping up at the moment. Not heard a radio one myself..

I'm sure some of the guys on here will elaborate, although I changed my tape to CD player n had no issues

Can you give us some more detail
And most importantly, pics

Hi
got a cheap cd radio from Halfords and finally got the right connecter bought 2 in eBay wrong type
my original started smoking so I striped it out
seems the immobilizer works through the radio and has stopped the terrano starting
went to open the car up for something and the alarm went off seems it does not recognise the key
its at a local Nissan dealer to rectify the faults
they phoned this morning car now starts but need a new key cut
hope to get the terrano back Wednesday all fixed for about £200

hi Briggie
yes that is what I found out just not enough experience in these things
was going to try this paper clip thing bridging two points where you plug in the computer
but thought I have done enough damage so sent the terrano to local Nissan dealer
