Hi Folks.

Newbie to this Forum on the basis of having bought an old but low mileage Ford Maverick 2.7 Turbo Diesel (1995 N reg).

Probably will be picking brains regarding oddities of operation and locating spares which seem to be a) hideously expensive and b) non-exisitent from Ford's point of view in an otherwise enjoyable 'big beat' vehicle!

Shall be visiting with interest!

Regards.

Welcome aboard and youve come to the right place. Personally id love an older non intercooled motor thats in good condition.

Theres members on here breaking these trucks so spares aint a problem. Plus full membership will get you a little discount at Milners.

Yep.. that's what I've got.. bought it over 19 years ago from new..
( Part of a bit of banter on here, I always look for an opportunity to mention that lol)...

Welcome to the best site for the Maverick and the Terrano.
We find parts for these trucks are not that expensive, as we know where to buy them.
In fact many parts just need some tlc and a bit of grease.

You will soon find you have saved your tenner after the first fix.

Great trucks, if it ain't broke don't fix it...
But a bit of preventative maintenance goes along way, especially in rust prevention and treatment.
Regular oil changes are essential, as are fluid changes in general. inc. rear diff.
