Default side steps on terrano 1995

Hello all
Can anyone tell me if my 1995 was made with side steps or are they an add on as my terrano has none :?:

They were available as an accessory, still can get non genuine or second hand. Higher spec models usually had them as standard. I pretty sure they should fit any T2 that hasn't got them fitted if you bought second hand. Some people removed theirs as they tend to get clouted by rocks when off road. Personally I like mine and they don't half come in handy to stand on to wash the car.

I've got a small step ladder which I use when cleaning mine & i'm 6ft : : If you do go for some Willow I would try & get the ones which bolt into the chassis as I had the other type & had to grind off the large exhaust clamp style fixing to remove them  I also found that mud got trapped around the side steps
