Terrano facelift SE+ SWB 2.7TDi for sale
Selling my Terrano as i now have another truck.
Its a 2.7TDi facelift Auto with full cream leather interior. MOT - Nov 10th 2014 (5 months) Road Tax - Oct 2014 129,000 miles. 2 Keys. Registered 2000 on an X reg. I'm looking for offers around £900. (i'm close to M4 J16). I've loads of external pics i can send or link, will get internal pics at the weekend. This has been used as a weekend greenlaner so has clearly been off road, however i have put the standard wheels and tyres back on as well as the standard rear springs. I also removed the carpets but will put them back in at the weekend. There are scratches on the body work (from branches etc) but quite light and i think easy to polish out (i.e. no big gouges down the side etc). Rust wise, i think its quite good, the chassis looks OK and also not too bad on the front wheel arches - but with most Terrano's, there is a bit. In the last 2 months, i have replaced the following; New Windscreen (old one had a crack when i bought it) New Centre and rear section Exhaust (from Milners) New intercooler hoses Engine Oil Front diff oil Transfer box oil Auto Gearbox oil Rear LSD oil (twice just to make sure) New front ARB links (receipts for all the above) Plus i have welded up some internal small holes in the footwell area as the carpet was getting wet, plus 2 areas where the seat attaches. I have pictures of all the welding at all stages so you can see whats been done. I have most of the old MOT's and loads of previous bill's/receipts etc. The 4WD system works as it should (i have cleaned and re-greased the auto front hubs), the Auto gearbox is smooth, works correctly and goes into overdrive when it should. The engine has been faultless and has not caused me any issues. Both keys work (new batteries and cases for both) - could do with re-syncing but i use the dash button to lock and the key buttons to unlock. Wheels are all OK, rear tyres not too bad for tread, fronts are getting low. Brakes are good and all work well. The bad bits (always some); The sills will need patching prior to the next MOT in 5 months. There are a couple more holes/areas near the rear seatbelt mounts in the boot that will need a patch for the next MOT (i put a temp non metal patch over them to keep water out etc whilst i got around to welding them - never got around to it as the MOT was a long way away). The aircon as expected is not cold but the compressor kicks in and out etc so i assume needs gassing. The sunroof has been converted to a manual sunroof (i.e. the motor was a bit sluggish so i converted it to a manual handle - works really well now). Not sure if this is really bad, but its just something to note - since replacing the exhaust, the turbo can be heard more than before, the truck pulls like a train and has never had a hiccup so i've just got used to a more pronounced whistle. I had intended to keep the truck and do the welding above for the next MOT but now have another truck ready to go with 33's, snorkle and body lift so no time to finish the Terrano. I think i've mentioned everything, but feel free to come and have a look. |
