Well the good news is the roof tile did miss the truck & no wheelie bins hit it so know damage but can't put my truck back on the drive yet as i've got a feeling even more tiles are going to come off yet & god knows how many months it'll take the council to fix the roof

Well this morning I did a look at our roof following the high winds, and horror... the ridge tile on the south side of the roof has become dislodged...

Since we have an excess on our house insurance, I have secured a quote of £70 to have it replaced hopefully on Saturday morning.
I didn't think that was that bad really.

I hope the wind doesn't get up, as it runs the risk of slipping off the roof.
If it goes it should go over the back of the house

I do most DIY jobs... but not roofs...
