I had my Snorkel and a set of LED Beacons for when we are on call out with the SE4x4R, as my pressy from my wife.

We are going away to Wales for Christmas, so it will be a nice relaxing time for us and the ferrets.

It will only show positive boost pressure, it will not show vacuum, well it doesn't on mine, and I tapped into the system, after the Turbo, on my Td.

Didn't on mine either (tdi) & I plumbed in at the turbo your eyes will be stuck to it for the first few days watching to see when it comes onto boost

it would be nice to start winding down but we have had a breakdown on the overhead crane at work which is awaiting a part coming in from france,so we are nearly a week behind on orders.
the manager asked if we could work 12 hours sat and sun to try and catch up with the back log.
so much for my weekend.it will be nice in the pay packet next week but I would like a bit of time to relax.
on a brighter note the mrs ordered my crimbo pressie yesterday
a snorkel kit for the terrano.

It's what you use on white faced, or wood veneered chipboard, to glue on the edging strip.

A pig of a job to get the glue off the iron after... ( should use brown paper between, really...).
Well so the wife keeps telling me... again and again....

To be fair, I now use an old steam iron, that I took the broken wet bits out of, so it just gets hot now...

Very true rustic, because there is no throttle plate to obstruct the air intake as per a petrol vehicle (though some diesels do have them). That's why a vacuum pump is required to work the brake servo.
Quite fancy a boost gauge since the 3L is said to be prone to over-boosting if the EGR is blocked off (I intend doing this whan I get the time).
Has anyone fitted a gauge to the 3L, & if so have you any tips regarding source of gauge & fitting.

I would check out the patrol4x4 forum bud, the Y61 section on the ZD30 DTI should have all that info. There is a specific section on the ZD30 DTI or just do a search for "boost gauge fitting 3.0" or similar.
