Default Really Disheartened :(

Why is it 75% of Terrano and Maverick off road videos on YouTube are of them getting stuck and/or being towed out by a Land Rover, Patrol or Toyota?

Are these cars crippled because they have no LSD?

LSD does not make much difference. What lets these trucks down is the front IFS.

Yeah problem is it's the one in the air that ends up spinning and the one on the floor you want to move stays put

Land Rovers don't have this problem because of Difflock right?

I would be seriously embarrassed if I got stuck in those conditions.
I honestly think I would have thrashed the fella filming it and broken his camera.

front hubs not engaging, not even spinning, like driving a cortina in snow.. hang on, after it starts moving and toward the end of clip the fwd kicks in, so i suggest they dont know wtf they are doing and didnt have it in 4wd to start with

without lsd... front wheel/s wasnt turning so no 4wd going on, couldnt see other rear wheel so wouldnt rule out 1wd, dont be disheartened banshee, ive had disco's, they dont feel half as sorted in snow.

I have owned plenty of Cortinas. Don't think I would have got one stuck as in that last vid.

I was just getting all excited about the snow coming again sat down to watch some videos to find 1000's of defenders romping around in it and then the minute a Terrano smells a bit of snow it says "F this" and buries itself
