Shocking shock prices??
Although my T2 passed its MOT this week  front end is decidely 'floaty' I'm guessing all the shocks are original at 113k miles so probably well past their best, have seen Monroe Gas shocks on ebay which is a name I know and trust at £75 front pair and £85 rear pair, with 2 year warranty. Having found out today when the log book came back that it has been written off previously ops: ( theres always a reason for a car being cheap!) Dont want to spend too much money on it but potentially falling off the road with 1600kg of caravan on the back doesnt appeal either!
How does that sound price wise? any other recommendations on manufacturer/suppliers at decent prices... not intending any 'serious' off road use just a little light green laning and lugging kids and caravan and all the other junk we have to take with us! Thanks in anticipation of your worldly wisdom.... Chris |

Many thanks guys... just had a look at the pro comp prices and they seem to be very very reasonable  Certainly cheaper than what I have seen on e-bay and just reading through the list I get the feeling I can almost design what I want and they will make it... or discuss what I need and they can advise me might work better  To top it all they are about 6 miles up the road!!!!!!!!!! aint it nice when a plan starts to come together... I feel my Terrano development plans starting... and when it rideas and steers better it will just be needing a bit more go
Will give pro comp a ring.. thanks again Chris |

Have phoned a couple of times and was told stock coming in on 20th Monday, phoned today to see if they've shipped and guess what no one to answer phone  I hate when someone takes my money and no stock I'll wait another couple of days then I'll be getting my money back as I'm waiting to change springs and shocks.

Ask him again when he says he's getting stock.
I'll phone again and see what he tells me, if the phone gets answered????. Then I'll decide what I'm going to do as I need these by tuesday.
