Default Rain stops play...

Just managed to get the oil back in, after doing an oil and filter change before the thunder and lightning started, and the heavens opened... just had 1/4 inch of rain in 10 mins.. Luuuuvvvleyyy

I wanted to do a full service, but I only got as far as the pollen filter, and oil. Still have the fuel filter to do, check and grease various bits, and I wanted to tighten the front torsion bars as well...

Quick question, if the front suspension is low, would it cause the front tyres to wear on the inside? I had tracking checked, and it is fine, but front tyres squeal in hot weather, and have worn a lot more on the inside edges.

Yes it will!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I had exactly this!!!!!!!!!

Get the car at the desired height and go and get it tracked, they'll tell you if you need to add or remove shims, do the work they tell you to, take it back in a month for a free retest

That's what Kwik Fit did for me for my MOT

Cheers.... I just read that post... I have to admit I did laugh at the beginning... DOH...

Hopefully it will just be the suspension being low, and a quick tweak should sort it. It's not bad, as in the tyres have done 20K, but they are noticeably more worn on the inside edge.
