Default Advice Please

Hi Guys,I am thinking of getting a second vehicle.I have not decided what i am having yet.But i am thinking of spending £3000 to £3500.i have nine years No Claims.
And i was wondering if you could give some pointers on Insurance companies that do a good deal on multi car insurance.
Advice also needed on how to convince the little lady that i really need another motor.

as above, be careful with multicar its so often more expensive.

if you have a 4x4, then yeah, id be looking at a nice sporty fast car. You say you need it because then start mumbling and walk off-assuming she is ok with it.

Yep this was my experience too.

About 800 for MCP and £250 + £230 separately.

I would buy a skoda octavia with the 1.9 tdi 130 BHP PD engine. Cheap car runs for ever 50-60 MPG

My opinion is second is better to be a practical economic car. VW diesel if you are going to do reasonable distances in it other wise a petrol engine is better for shorter trips.
