Greetings from Nairobi
Hi,
I live in Nairobi, recently bought a Terrano II 2.7 (92KW, YOM 2003) here. Seems like a good car, is a bit slow though. Reason may be that the previous owner replaced the original cylinderhead with one used in the Nissan minibuses around here, which is a non-turbo. Found out about that too late. Although it seems to be working so far, I just don't like the idea. So my first task on the car is to find a good cylinderhead replacement (complete with valves, cam shaft etc.) either in Kenya or in the UK. Any help is highly appreciated. Apart from that: Hakuna Matata. Michael |

@stinka: Thanks, that would be good news, a cylinderhead is quite costly. Thing is that one connnector to the cylinderhead is loose because there is no plug on the head's side. I think it is the sensor to manage the fuel mix during engine warm-up. The engine does lots of Diesel-rattling when cold. Yes, it has a turbo. What is "maf"?
@biggie: :-) Sasa ninaelewa. Ninajarobu kujinfunza Kiswahili kwa mwaka moja. Umetumia baadhi ya maneno ambayo sikujua. Ninataka kubadili Kiingereza sasa? |
