New to the terrano and new on here
Hi there folks, new on here and also to the terrano. I have always had landrovers but due to theft issues etc and you get more for your money I have decided to try out a newer terrano 2 . I have bought it to use in our search and rescue team to be honest. Like everything new this will be a learning curve for me on their issues and also buying mod parts for it. Like a winch bumper and roof rack. Can not find anything on eBay!! Hence joining the forum to get the best knowledge around

And you've chosen the right vehicle, love mine to bits ! Now, start running it on standard veg oil, you won't look back ( if its the stronger 2.7 ) 2 inch lift, larger tyres, snorkel and anything a land does ya Terrano does |

Welcome to the club, I've only had mine 18 years from new, so not long enough to report on any faults yet.
Don't mention the fuel tank.. I am probably the member with the longest single ownership, there are other vehicles that are older, but they have had several owners. This club though has helped me to sort problems I never knew I had, by reading the odd problem my a few members on this site, I have been able to do preventative maintenance, thus preventing major issues later. Even though I rarely post any questions about the Maverick/ Terrano, I have a wealth of knowledge from the experiences of other members. Then Post quite a lot, with super long posts with explanations. Regular maintenance as for any vehicle is essential, checking fluid levels, and find the reason why you have to top up any thing is important. The Diesels rarely burn engine oil, mine goes for years without topping up any of the other fluids. Enjoy the vehicle, and enjoy the club, we have some great members too. Best regards, Rustic
